Concept site: PRISMA Parfums SAS is fictional, and the company details are placeholders (addresses and emails use the reserved .example domain). On a real site, every page is filled with the real business details and reviewed by a lawyer in the business's country.

Accessibility Statement

We want everyone to be able to use PRISMA, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, zoom or reduced motion.

Standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. That goes beyond EN 301 549 (WCAG 2.1 AA), the standard used for the European Accessibility Act, which applies to online shops in the EU since 28 June 2025. It also covers the Israeli Standard 5568.

What we've done

• Text alternatives for meaningful images.
• Colour contrast checked to at least 4.5:1 for text.
• Every action works with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline; focus stays inside open dialogs, Escape closes them, and closed panels are removed from the tab order.
• Form fields have labels and clear error messages that explain how to fix the problem.
• Animations respect the "reduce motion" setting; nothing flashes more than 3 times a second.
• Pages work when zoomed to 200% and on small screens.
• The picture effects (smoke, golden dust, liquid ripples, cross-fades) are decorative; every photograph has a text description. Every choice (size, name on the label, gift wrap) is made with buttons and a text field.
• Every chapter has a text version of what the animation shows (the notes, the details).
• With reduced motion, smooth scrolling and all picture effects are switched off and the pictures are shown as plain images.

Known limitations

Decorative 3D and animated graphics have no text alternative because they carry no information that isn't also in the text. Automated tests cover only part of WCAG; we also test manually with a keyboard.
